In 1952, St. Agatha FCU was founded to serve the community of St. Agatha.The charter has expanded over the years to include area businesses, organizations and their families. Our role as a Community Credit Union insures a solid foundation in an ever-changing marketplace.
Credit Unions are unique among financial institutions because they are owned and democratically controlled by their members. Sharing a common bond members join together in a cooperative form and structure to encourage saving and make loans to each other. Any member in good standing can have an active role in the operation by becoming a director and/or serving on committees.
Our field of membership includes those individuals who reside or work in the communities of St. Agatha, Township 17 r. 4 and Township 17 r. 5, and employees,students and immediate family of S.A.D. 33.
REGULATION CHANGE INCREASES DEPOSIT AVAILABILITY LIMIT BY $100.00
As of July 21,2011, the first $200 of a deposit made to your St. Agatha FCU account will be available on the next business day after deposit. This is an increase from the current $100 of the deposit that is available on the next business day. This is a result of the enactment of the Dodd-Frank Act, which includes a provision amending the Expedited Funds Availability Act ( Regulation CC).
